The Museum’s mission is to protect its collection and archive documents on display at the permanent exhibition "The history of Skawina" created by the Skawina Friends Society and to further expand the collection by acquiring historic, folk art and regional artefacts concerning Skawina and its environs. A special form of the Museum’s activity is making the collection widely available through the Web, organising exhibitions, publication and educational activity, addressed to the local community, in particular to educators.
