This trail offers some of the most scenic views in the vicinity of Kraków. Forest covered hills forming part of Pogórze and Beskid Średni, as well as gentle hillocks covered by cultivated fields stretch around the trail. From there you can admire views of the nearest and more distant mountains, with the Tatra ridges looming on the horizon, weather permitted. Among historic landmarks on the trail, the Church of St Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr in Świątniki Górne is noteworthy .It was built in the pseudo-Romanesque style in the years 1846–1856, as a replica of a church in Debrecen, Hungary. Its plans were brought here by padlock traders from Świątniki. Two 18th-century altars from Wawel, made by the Italian architect Francisco Placidi (1710–1782) are the finest adornments of the church interior.
